Overcoming all the obstacles of its 2013 banking crisis, Cyprus has in a short period of time re-established itself as one of the world’s most promising international business centers, full of strategic advantages and abounding with new investment opportunities.  It has done so by implementing tough reforms and undertaking structural changes that have made its economy and banking system stronger and better suited for today’s internationally competitive world.

Not only was Cyprus the first country in the European Union to return to the international markets so soon after a bailout, it has over the course of the last two years introduced numerous investor and company friendly measures to make it an even more attractive jurisdiction for new multinational investment and an ideal location from which to base an existing company’s regional operations.   These measures include a new intellectual property regime that combines an efficient low-tax system with international protections, new banking and financial service reforms that expand the opportunity for international wealth management, a new investment for citizenship program that is drawing worldwide interest, and new investment-friendly initiatives for land development, luxury tourism, and the gaming industry.

Add to these developments Cyprus’s recognized role as an international shipping center and as a gateway for investment into Europe and the Euro-Med region and there are many reasons to put Cyprus on the list of emerging world-class international business centers. Please join us for the First Annual Cyprus-USA Business and Investment Forum to learn more about the opportunities in Cyprus and to speak with top Cyprus government officials and with the international investment practitioners that are leading the way in Cyprus.

A networking reception and media event will follow the evening seminar.
H.E. George Lakkotrypis, Minister of Energy, Commerce & Industry, and panelists will be available for interviews.
